ButtonGenie manufacturer
onboarding pilot

A proposed welcome-card test for one button-machine model.

Proposal — no partnership implied

The customer moment

A new machine owner needs to turn an idea into correctly sized artwork, print a test, and understand the complete button workflow. ButtonGenie combines a local-first artwork Studio with event orders, customer intake, claim tickets, and print export.

What the maker gets

  • Browser-based button artwork Studio
  • Local editing and export after caching
  • Starter graphics stored on the device
  • Saved customer jobs and reorders
  • Size-profile and print-at-actual-size guidance

What we propose to test

  • One machine SKU
  • A controlled 250–500 box batch
  • A welcome card with a distinct campaign code
  • First-print success and support observations
  • Expansion only after reviewing measured results

Pilot sequence

  1. Agree on the exact machine, supplies, paper cut diameter, support owner, and claims that can be made.
  2. Validate a machine profile and physical test sheet with the actual press and cutter.
  3. Approve the card, offer terms, code destination, co-branding, and a small controlled box batch.
  4. Review scans, activations, successful first exports, support contacts, and maker feedback before expanding.
Compatibility comes first. ButtonGenie should never promise that a print fits every press. Makers must print at actual size and confirm the machine manufacturer's cut diameter and approved supplies.

Boundaries for an honest pilot

No partnership, discount, trial, commission, box placement, or manufacturer endorsement exists until agreed in writing. Reduced support and fewer returns are hypotheses to measure. Any manufacturer logo requires approval. Editing and export remain available without marketing attribution or an online account.
